Every project has a story, which evolves around the site. Client have approached us to design a resort with a restaurant and other necessary amenities. Site is placed with a scenic view of reservoir on Valdevi River. Where it is blessed with the backdrop of Sahayadri range.

Talking about the project, project name itself suggest the whole process of identifying the identity of the project GABION WALL. Gabion wall generally being associated with conception of retaining wall which is been used as a device where gabion not only forms a vocabulary of architecture landscape but also it use to separate spaces.

Residential units are kept floating between these retaining walls, where retaining wall functions as tying element. This project appears like floating boxes on the water. The major part of this project is the restaurant, where it is designed in a manner, where it allows nature to flow in with negligible thin presence of a horizontal roof placed on the ground. Architecture of this place is predominantly governed by presence of the gabion wall. Hence, the name GABION WALL.
